I just looked back at Luke's CH breakfast pic from October and he had beans, they were served in a nice little pot on the plate.

Well, it's bad enough not getting beans with one's breakfast, but to know that everyone else gets beans goes beyond the pale! This is a travesty!

Mind you, if VS would be kind enough to send me a tin of HP and - say - 10,000 miles, we'll consider the matter closed...

Well of course; she can have a second helping of beans to make up for it.

I got the best part of 18K from her for the MIA flights, by the way - not bad when I was on a G.

Exercise extreme caution, doctor, when using my name and the word 'soul' in the same sentence. [:w]

Marvelous ramblings sir. I'm so relieved that the good souls at MIA decided to grant the tribe speedy entry particularly after jnr being so poorly during the flight.

After all of the dire warnings we'd read about MIA immigration on here and, of course, after the particularly shabby treatment that you'd been subjected to prior to our trip, we were very worried indeed. Consequently, the speed that they swept us through in was positively breathtaking...

[y][y]Excellent TR as always, i've been looking forward to this.

All credit to the crew onboard with your little one bing so poorly, just goes to show that when VA are good they are very, very good.

We had a similar experience a couple of years ago on a BMI flight back from Antigua when Jess was really poorly about an hour into the flight, it's quite scary at the time, the crew were superb in PE.

I am glad your trip all seemed to work out for the good in the end - what a bad start ! Also your swift passage through MIA customs, no doubt aided by having a propper poorly MDVipond JR with you, is worthy of note that the officials at MIA can have a heart !

Looking forward to hearing about your return journey idc.

Regards,

Mdviponds all,
This TR really kept me fascinated. Very, very well written. How in heaven's name did you two keep your sanity whil(st)e all the world was collapsing about you?

Looking forward to more, of course!

Thanks again.

Short answer? T10&TWLW. And, of course, those fine, fine crew members...

Perhaps DHS at MIA took one look at Tizer and decided that a vomiting child is not what they wanted. 'Clean-up, agent 15'...

Really enjoyed the TR. Many thanks.

It one of my fears the kids going down with something just before a holiday, glad you got through it just about OK.

PS. Shouldn't T10&TWLW be T10&TWLWRAROGGALS? (Tanqueray 10 and tonic with Lime Wedge Rubbed Around Rim Of Glass, Given A Little Squeeze)

What? And turn my back on my glittering career as a director of a business in the troubled manufacturing sector during the worst economic downturn the country's seen since the Depression? Surely you jest, sir... [;)]
