Another tier points question

This is probably a silly question, but it has been bothering me because of information about tier points on mothly sweep and dating from the start of the month when awarded. Just typing this has made me confused[:I]

I currently have 10 points from a UC return in September '04. I am vaguely planning a trip to Florida in May '05. My question is - if the outward leg of the trip takes me to Ag (15 points total), do the 5 points on the return leg count towards the 10 needed to retain Silver? (ie do I then only need a further 5 points before May '06 to retain?

Hi Pat,

Yes - they would count to requalification.

When you hit 15, the sweep will be done whilst you are away and you will be moved up to Silver. Then from that point onwards you have the time to rack up the required 10 to retain, of course you will get 5 of them a short while later on your return flight.
