No suprise really. VH were never going to go in and rescue TCD whilst still in operation as they could get the best parts for cheaper now.

Interesting that they have, from the report, purchased the brand and the database of clients.

Speculating here, the purchasing of the brand could mean two things:
1. VH plan to operate the TCD brand as some sort of lower cost option over VH. Possibly utilising charter flights or something along those lines. Pretty much running TCD as there were a few years ago.

2. VH just didn't want anyone else getting the TCD name.

Of course any decision will have a knock on effect for VS.

Found this on the DIBB, wonder what Virgin wants with the name, I would have thought its a bit tarnished after what happened.

Just seen a TCD advert on Sky Sports News.

A quick look at the TCD website shows all flights are now being operated by VS. Will be interesting to see how the loads on MCO are effected.
