Important Kenyan Visa information

Effective immediately, anyone wishing to purchase a Kenyan Visa on arrival will only be able to make the purchase in US dollars.

If you are intending to purchase your Visa on arrival in Nairobi, please ensure you have suffificient US dollars on hand to purchase the Visa or you may be refused entry.

Good tip - same goes now for many African countries/states - I had this when flying to Zimbabwe and via land to Zambia recently which was a change to the previous stance of taking either £ or local currancy.
