Parking at heathrow

I'm in helsinki this weekend, and want to drive as The trains between london and ipswich on a sunday are always replaced with coaches, which makes for a miserable affair at the best of times

I'm to arrive before 8am this friday and leave after 6pm on the sunday

I use quidco

what would offer me the most convenient and cheapest way of parking at the airport for three days?

When I an not staying overnight at LHR, I tend to use Purple Parking. They are off airport, and I have never had a problem with them.

There is a link from the Virgin Atlantic website which - I think has a discount code, but it doesn't appear to be working right now.

Alternatively, have a look at Holiday extras, and make your choice from there.

Try looking for a car park and hotel deal. Usually weekends are very cheap, often the same as just the parking.

Of the parks, my preference is the old Q-Park multistory next to the Premier Travelinn.

Another vote for Q-Park, there is usually a discount around if you have a quick search via Google too.

It's now called Quality Airport Parking but the Q-park website still refers to it.

Ive used Purple umpteen times in the past without any problems - but Im not sure I would for a three day trip 'cos you can loose 30 mins sitting in traffic in the van - never tried Qpark but I think its closer

Q-Park or Quality Airport Parking as Darren correctly states it is now called is now operated by Purple Parking.

Another vote for Q-park, I have used them almost every week for the last year or 2 and never had a problem. If you join the Purple Parking club you wil get a discount.

We used Q park on the A4, going out 1st Jan & coming back 8th Jan.

We hadn't used them before but there was a good offer going[:D]

You leave your car at their reception, give them the keys & they park it in their multi-storey car park on site for you.

Upon return, phone them as you are collecting your bags & go to the bus stop number they tell you to. Our courtesy transfer vehicle arrived within 5 minutes.

Our car was near the exit waiting for us to drive away. There are free newspaers in reception - Express & Observer I think.

We have used the business car park, a tad further along (ie nearer but only by a few hundred yards)on the A4 on several previous occasions & in that car park YOU park in the desigated row & take your keys with you.
I would use the Q Park again or the Business car park depending on the price/offers/points.

Which terminal do you depart from?

I booked Purple Parking via VS Flying Club as posted by Nottm Nick. £51 for 17 days considering booking through Purple Parking without the VS discount came to about £85. That is a massive savings. Never used Purple Parking before and abit reluctant at first leaving my car keys for them to drive around in. Last summer I used NCP Flightpath so I don't have to leave the keys with them but it would be costing me £100 on this trip so I am going with Purple Parking for half the price.

I have used a Purple Parking badged service @ Stansted for the past year-and-a-bit and have to date encountered no problems. I've kept an eye on the mileage between dropping off and collection, and it has never exceeded the 40 miles in total they say the car may travel to and from a parking facility.

£13 for three days, £2 off through going through Virgin! I've passed the place a million times on the heathrow express
