I was wondering how good is the Revivals Lounge at LHR? It does not say much about it on the Virgin site. Also, if I was going to book a taxi for my flight which arrives at 0620, what time should I book it for if I wanted to make use all of the services in the lounge?

Oh my.

Sorry for more bad news.

If your flight arrives at 14:00, you won't be able to use the Revivals lounge. It's designed for morning flights only, and closes after lunch. [:(]

Oops sorry, I arrive at LHR at 0620. I'm getting confused this early on a Saturday morning!

In that case, probably an hour tops is all you will want to spend there. In for a long, hot shower, then breakfast. After that you'll probably want to get moving. You can have treatments there but I've never bothered TBH as it's a lot smaller than the CH.

Ah, phew!

YAY! OK, then I'd plan to spend:

30 mins getting from plane, bags, to revivals itself (just upstairs from the main arrivals hall)
20 mins shower & 'stuff' (errr - make that an hour for the girls)
20-30 mins breakfast
IF you want a treatment, allow another 20 minutes, BUT you'll have to book it the second you check-in at the front desk, as they do get full.

Treatments are very good; my girlfriend and sister have both had the massage there and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Isn't revivals in part of the T3 Car Park?

No. It's not part of the car park, but it is pretty near.

The car park is accessed across a walkway/bridge on the upper level (same level as Revivals) of T3 arrivals.

I'd agree with the previous posts, it's not quite the event that the Clubhouse is. I have occasionally lounged there for a few hours when I am making a connection, as at least it's quiet, and much more pleasant that any terminal space. They of course have free WiFi, so if checking email is something you want to do, you can. But yes, 'door to door' about an hour and a half sounds right.

Revivals is one of the better perks of having a Gold Card in my view. I usually book a taxi for 2h after landing. That allows time to have a long shower, leisurely breakfast with the papers etc. with some slack to get a treatment if the therapist is available.

Enjoy!
