I hate to sound like a snob, and in my defence, I did enter.
But my god. Ballymun? (It used to be... special.)

Ballymun has undergone a major regeneration project. The tower blocks are long gone and the whole area rebuilt which includes the Travelodge and a Days Inn hotel. I was pleasantly surprised the last time I went through it.

Having said that, I don't know if I would want to stay there. [:D]

I should add, I didn't mean to slag off Dublin*. It's nice to see Ballymun getting some TLC.

* it was more the combination of Ryanair and Travelodge that made me chuckle...
