LHR Clubhouse

My apologies if this has already bee discussed.

Has the construction at the LHR Clubhouse been completed yet? If so, what has been done since I was last there in December last year?

The new LHR Clubhouse will be opening in two phases. They are currently working on phase 1 (which is the space next door to the current Clubhouse) which will open around the end of April, and the old space will then close for its refurb. Phase 2 (the refurb of the old space) should be complete by October 05, when the two areas will be combined to create the full double-sized Clubhouse, with some stuff you've never seen in an airport lounge before

I'm flying out to LAX next June and looking forward to my first experience of the clubhouse. What does this mean for me? What can I expect in June? Will there still be access upstairs to the conservatory? So many questions!

Well, not access to the conservatory as you know it, as the whole of the current Clubhouse will be closed. In June you should be in the new part of the Clubhouse - about the same size as the current one, in the space opposite. Whether that has its own conservatory is unknown, but you'll at least be able to experience a shiny new lounge space with lots of new features.

One of the new 'super casinos' is going to open there, to get people in the Vegas mood [?]:D
