That's an interesting piece. If VS go from chilled to frozen meals for Y and W then I assume major Galley mods will be required.

One for the VS Staffers, is this all tied in with the changes that we have been led to expect in Y and W next year?

I'd assume that they would be de-frosted prior to loading onto plane - meaning no modifications are needed.

This would mean less waste I would have thought, as they can easily de-frost food according to loads - can anyone confirm?

How will this affect quality though?

Also I would have thought, will give them more flexibility and stock control volume over chilled food

Well,
They say the proof of the pudding is in the eating..
the same applies to the starter and the main;)

I hope they dont freeze the salad!!:D[8D];)

I'm sure VS would have blind tested the new meals before introducing them..

Could this be tied in with the planned changes coming.

Hopefully they will serve up something edible for breakfast using the new supplier.:D

In Flight catering is completely different so I doubt they'll have any connection to the clubhouse - that being said have any of those of you that have travelled in Y/W recently noticed a change?
