Nope, it should have changed, it was just an oversight on my part [:I] Now fixed.

I'm a little confused about how to use pay-pal. It seems to want a lot of personal information to set up an account, which I am not very inclined to do (but will if I have to!)
I'm logging into www.paypal.co.uk - trust this is the correct site?
Do you have to set up a whole account with pay-pal in order to make one payment?
I'm a layman at these kind of things - sorry if i'm asking silly questions [:I]

Been a while since I originally signed up, and I understand the sign up is a little less complicated than it used to be - but it's all in the aid of security (both for you, and to appease the money laundering laws).
It's kind of useful having a PayPal account - sometimes you want to buy something on the web and don't want to give your credit card details.

Very useful tool paypal, when you sign up they will put a small charge(pence) on your credit/debit card with a number next to it (you can find this on your online statement to avoid waiting for the paper statment)you enter this code on the paypal site to confirm it's your card.Paypal is now a massive company part of the ebay empire.Only thing to watch out for are the bogus emails asking you to log in to confirm your details just bin them and always log in at www.paypal.com

As Decker says, the V-Flyer membership kits are just that, and not related in any way to Flying Club.
The kits do serve a useful purpose though, since after taking out the cost of making & sending them to you, there is a small surplus which goes towards the running costs of this site. It's very easy to assume the Internet is 'free', but at the end of the day someone is footing the bill to host & maintain the info you see on here. That just happens to be me in this case, so if you feel you've got some valuable info from V-Flyer, I encourage you to get a kit. Not only do you get some attractive bits of personalised plastic to strap to your case, a shiny V-Flyer lapel pin, your own membership card, the V-Tool and access to the private forum; you're also helping keeping the site going for others to reap the benefits of V-Flyer.
Time for a group hug everyone? [;)]

Great point Pix.
I plan on donating ASAP. The way I see it, I go to the movie and enjoy them, but that is only two hours! So I will be donating the cost that a movie ticket cost.
Pix - When I go to donate, there shows a charge for shipping and handling. I just want to donate.
Would it be possible to just send money to [email protected] or does it not matter (I do not know if there would be a tax issue, etc.)?
Benjamin

Benjamin - thanks for your great gesture. [:D]
On the front page of the forum is a 'Donate to V-Flyer' link to a paypal site for donations to V-Flyer. That will probably be the best route.

Hi,
I've been a bit slow off the mark with my membership [:I] and was just wondering do I need to purchase the Red and the Silver as it's my first kit, or do I just buy the Silver kit? Sorry if I'm beinga bit dim.
Just been looking at the luggage stickers in the store lol Can't wait to get some of them [:D]

You can go straight for the Silver [8D][:D]
Please, bear in mind that Pete is enjoying the delights of Vegas at the moment, but I am sure he will process the back log of orders as soon as he is over his jet lag [;)]

Since I'm going to be enjoying the delights of the Edinburgh Festival for a large chunk of August, I'm unable to make up Membership Kits (or Luggage Tags) whilst I'm away.
To avoid any confusion over delays, I've turned those items 'off' temporarily in the store. Any orders received up until today will go out before I leave for the Highlands.
If you have any questions regarding membership while I'm away, please feel free to contact any of the moderators.
Thanks,
Pete
