Inspired by the success of the inaugural golf tournament last year, Virgin Atlantic will soon launch a new golf competition which will be open to all members of Flying Club.

Called Flying Club Swingers, the competition allows members to test their golfing skills against other Flying Club members and compete for a place in the Final at The Grove where there will be a whole range of (apparently unbelievable) prizes up for grabs.

The very first Flying Club Swinger to register will be Sir Richard Branson, better known for breaking world records than course records.

Members will be able to enter scores from club competitions, corporate golf days and matches against each other, and they will not need to be regular golfers or have a handicap to compete. With fantastic prizes for Player of Month and other competitions that will run throughout the season, as well as the opportunity for gaining bonus points, Flying Club Swingers provides golfers of all standards with an opportunity to win.

This season runs until 18 September and is open to all Flying Club members. To enrol in Flying Club Swingers, please keep an eye on http://www.virgin.com/flyingclub - the site will be launched early May.

1st Prize is a pair of PE tickets to any VS destination,
2nd Prize is a pair of bmi tickets to Alicante + three night stay at Hyatt Regency La Manga
3rd prize is a stay at the Gleneagles resort in Scotland + car rental.

First 500 to post their scores get a free "goody bag", too.

Couldn't they do an UC flight, or is that just a bit too much? I feel like VS is getting stingy.

Well,

the link is now officially live - click here

There are already people entering scores, so if anyone wants a goody-bag (with "Evisu Flying Club Swingers golf shirt and a sleeve of Callaway Big Bertha golf balls") you need to be in the first 500 to sign up & enter results.
