Crap Couplets

For some reason I've got 'Highly Strung' by Spandeau stuck in my head and that made me wonder about other people's nominations for crap couplets. My immediate two would be the above...

She used to be a diplomat
But now she's down the laundromat

and Black Sabbath's

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses

Any others?

Ooh, did someone say lyrics...?!? Whilst not quite a couplet, for my money, Des'ree wins every time with this excerpt from 'Life':

Nickelback's 'How you remind me' - these two lines really bothered me;

It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story

Aye? If you cant get the line to rhyme, dont make a futile attempt at it! Sheesh!

Can probably think of more as the day goes on. On the flipside, my favourite ever sets of rhyming lyrics have to come from Tim Rice and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat with;

All these things you saw in your pyjamas
Were a long range forecast for your farmers

and

Find a man to lead you through the famine
With a flair for economic planning

I always thought those two were wonderful examples of Rice's genius.
