Was Checking in to the Hilton Garden Inn in Monterey on Thursday when the phone rang could not believe the totally over the top way the receptionist answered the phone, quote:'Hi, it's a lovely day here at the Hilton Garden Inn Monterey, my name is ********, I'm happy to help you in any way I can, I'm here for you 100% customer satisfaction so please go ahead and speak to me' and all that in one breath.
Just wondered if anyone else had been greeted in such a way!

Most I expect is something like 'Hello/Good Morning/Good Afternoon/Good Evening (insert company name) (insert name here) speaking, how may I help you?'
