Here's one.

Given all the different people on here, what traits, if combined, will produce the perfect V-flyer?

To start the ball rolling....

The ability to spot an oppertunity to earn miles from anything/anywhere.

How about being able to grasp the opportunity to point out one's fellow V-Flyers' spelling errors...?

The willingness and ability to

Drink stupid amounts of alcohol.
Take a flight half way around the world, in Y for fun.
To be able o take a kicking as well as dish one out on the boards.
To figure out how to maximize the return on the miles being spent.
Is always willing to offer a hand in the running of the site.
Is willing to share their exploits after drinking silly amounts of alchol.

Whilst my initial excitement when I saw this thread title has died down a little now I realise it isn't a homage to me, I think it takes many things to be a 'perfect V-Flyer' including:

A love of planes (we are all plane spotters at heart!)
A willingness to spend lots of money
A love of helping a newbie/answering the VF fav question 'which a/c will I be on'
A desire to learn from the very knowledgeable and helpful people who are willing to share their info/tips
A thick skin and the ability not to take yourself too seriously
A desire to take the p*ss out of LRoM

Sure there are loads of more but it's far too early for my brain to my functioning properly yet. Good thread Darren[y]

Since when did anyone nominate you to be the perfect V-Flyer Neil? [;)]

I think the qualities to be the perfect V-Flyer would include...

*Knowing the entire VS product inside out
*Unbiased views on the VS product, its cabins and the people that choose to fly in particular cabins
*Fly VS on a regular basis in all cabins, therefore being able to provide people with the most up-to-date developments/reviews
*A desire to spot every possible mile earning opportunity (something has gotta fund the point above)
*Offering a hand on running this site
*Contributing towards the running of the site by regular donations no matter how small or large the amount is

Here's a few more I thought of...

*Helps out with queries on here, no matter how daft or awkward the query is
*Doesn't tar everyone with the same brush
*Level-headed, views all arguments/debates from a fair angle, and possibly neutral
*Accepts the viewpoints of others in public (even though you may disagree in private whether biased or not)

And finally, the most golden quality to a perfect V-Flyer is...

*The ability to dish out abuse towards a city (?) in the East Riding of Yorkshire known as Kingston-upon-Hull

Not bad for a Scouser. Do VS fly to Barnsley?

Now, back OT -- in all seriousness, this list is for the win...particularly the bit about certain crap towns.

Also

Being able to spot an unwashed sleep suit before taking out of the case and finding a 'watchspring'
Having the champagne capacity akin to a camel
The brass neck to use the CH tub in only a pair of speedos
Having an uncanny knack of not seeing a CDC even when booked

[:0] Not even a chance!!! Fun, you say? Your definition of fun is not mine, sirrah. This condition sounds like my worst nightmare.

May I suggest the perfect V-Flyer would be the one who thoughtfully chartered planes full of Uppers so we could all attend a Social somewhere in the world, each and every one of us? [}:)]
