John Hughes movie from the '80's

Judd Nelson Character is crawling through an ac duct telling a joke..

'A naked blonde walks into a bar with a poodle under one arm and a two foot salami under the other. She lays the poodle on the table. Bartender says, 'I suppose you won't be needing a drink.' Naked lady says'

He fall's through the duct and doesn't finish the joke...anyone have an idea if there is an ending to it ?

Good question. I don't know the answer, but there are a few suggestions here, and a view here that there was no punchline, and that Bender was doing it on the fly. Sorry to disappoint!

Supposedly (according to a couple of sources) Judd Nelson was supposed to be ad-libbing a joke whose punchline was 'I forgot my pencil' (the first words he says after crashing through the ceiling). Unfortunately they couldn't think of a joke that ended with that line.

Actually that's a good idea - rather than working out a punch-line to the actual joke does anyone have any good jokes to fit the punchline?
