Well, an interesting choice by the UK last night I think. At least we have a someone who can sing (very well) although I'm not sure the song is very 'Eurovision', but you never know. I preferred Michelle Gayle myself but I think her performance and vocals were messy and probably cost her the win.

Roll on 24th May, I can't wait...

It's a travesty. When will we learn that the Great British Public can't be trusted when it comes to Eurovision? The judges on the night knew who should have won - Michelle Gayle - it had Eurovish written all over it.

But let the Pop Idol watching morons in 'TV Land' have the final say and you end up with a formulaic (albeit, well sung) pop ditty that doesn't have the 'fun' element the Contest demands.

Democracy? You can keep it. Christ, look at the government that we keep voting in...
