Oh if only I'd seen this last September when my Aunty lost the key to her suitcase! I had to get the hotel to saw through the padlock after she's left the key at home [:#]

That after I'd given up trying to buy a pair of bolt cutters in NYC on a Friday night!

Genius pure genius [:D]

Thank goodness I have a hard Samsonite case with no zips [y]

If ever there was a reason not to buy a zipper case that has to be it! Thanks for the link.

I kind of doubt the claim that it can be perfectly re-closed. From my experience, once a zipper gets screwed up like that you're never going to have a perfect seal.

I love how the video shows him taking a camera out of the suitcase. It's like a 'how to' manual for thieves.

does this seriously come as a surprise to anyone? i'd have thought any genuine 'frequent' flyers would have enough common sense not to rely on cases secured with zips, in which case a TSA lock is still usefull as you can leave your case unlocked but still lock the TSA knowing that you still have a bit of security against the blatant opportunist South American / Illegal working in the US baggage despatch dept.
