Beach front airports like SXM

Another interesting airport/runway is LSI - Sumburgh, Shetland Islands.
The runway is publicy accessible, as the main road to/from the airport runs over it!

Caution - if you hang around on the runway taking pics for too long, an airport vehicle with orange flashing lights will eventually shoo you away (politely)! [:w]

SXM is on my list sooner rather than later, as is Barra, Saba and Tegucigalpa.

I can't think of anywhere else in the world that has an approach quite like, with regular widebody arrivals.

The only one I can think of is Phuket here. Although I believe the approach is not quite as low as at SXM.

Hamilton Island Airport looks pretty cool also but no beach see here.

All the airports I can think of close to the sea either dont have a beach (FUN, GIB, WLG) or you cant access them (SYD).
