The art of brevity and form in poetry is encapsulated in haiku, a Japanese style of three line verse which follows a syllable pattern of 5-7-5. The strict form of haiku means that thoughts and ideas must be expressed in a succinct and concise manner, whilst still communicating the writer's intent. I will give you an example:

Neil and GJ fought
but now they are best of friends
I give it a week

In terms of a 'V-Flyer Haiku' I'm sure someone else can do much better than this. Any suggestions?

Have you been sniffing the meths again[:?]

To complex for me, but then again English is my second language and Turning Japenese is somthing that the Vapours sang about I think.

Bloody Philistines, the lot of you. We need the enigmatic touch of the high-brow literati around here - when's Decker back from holiday?

And Darren, it would take considerably more than a few firkins of mild to get me booking Y...

Except when no fizz

Valiant effort slink - but 6-8-5? Hey, don't blame me, blame the Japanese!

I like your haiku, honey lamb. Very flattering. And so good of you to get GJ's juices flowing with an amenity kit reference. You're too good to him, you know...

How about:

The Upper Class bar
Tanqueray 10 and tonic
So seldom with lime
