Problems with PayPal?

Is anyone else experiencing any problems with PayPal?
For the past day or so, I have been unable to pay for a low value item I bought on EBay. I get the error message 'unable to check out at this time'.

I can log into my PayPal account via the PayPal website, but not via EBay, which I find most strange.

Anyone else suffered this?

I've used Paypal twice over the last couple of days (once with ebay) both items less than ten pounds. I've had no issue.

That happens to me sometimes when i'm using Safari, but when I switch to Firefox it's okay. [:?]

I had this happen to me a couple of weeks ago, paypal also decided that my email was not valid, I sent an email to the seller and explained what was happening, he sent me an email back saying that paypal had been doing this for a while, give it twenty minutes and try again.

Which I did and everything went straight through, very strange.
