Let's see: a bunch of flowers 'fresh' from the forecourt of the local petrol station; a box of Terry's All Gold chocolates (only slightly damaged, but two for one at Netto, so that's Christmas sorted); dinner of Aldi boil-in-the-bag chicken supreme served at the formica kitchen table; bottle of Lambrini (room temperature), followed by 10 minutes of muted passion 'neath nylon sheets.
