Hi all,

I've flown lots of time with VS in Econ and PE but its my first flight in Upper with them in May. As I have not flown in this class before I just wanted to know if the Heathrow Clubhouse and onboard bar was self serve?? Or does someone serve you?? The reason I ask is i drink far much more than I eat and so wonder if I should stock up with water and fizzy drinks before I board.

Also, do they have Laptops or computers in the clubhouse too?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Pete

Welcome to UC!

The Clubhouse is well staffed and you will be served either at the bar or at one of the many tables dotted around the place. There are also bottles of water available for you to take near the Cowshed. On board usually a cabin crew will serve you

There are laptops available for use in the Clubhouse

Enjoy the experience

There should be staff around to serve at the bar onboard but many a time it's been like the Marie Celeste and I've served myself. Water and fizzy drinks? For future reference, a Mojito (or two)is obligatory in the CH and the same goes for a T10+T (with lime) on board.
Enjoy.

There are lots of cold bottles of water and Virgin Cola etc so feel free to stock up before you board if you like. Oh and if you have a sweet tooth fill your pockets with the vast array of sweets!

Enjoy.

Speaking of which, are there only boiled sweets now? My preference is for the chewy ones but recently I've been out of luck.

It's probably the result of too many mojito's but I have never noticed the pick and mix counter!!?[?]

The drinks and sweets are located near the laptops at the library end of the clubhouse.[y]
