Funky non-chain hotel in easy reach of LAX

Any ideas? Even better if it has a good restaurant. 15-30 mins away from LAX

Well we'll be going there from Six Flags so it seems a bit of a round trip But that was one of the mooted locations.

I like it and there but is a dearth of quality hotels in and around LA IMHO (Chateau Marmont and Shutters excemted IMO)
