When in Vegas I'm looking to take in one of the shows in town. The choices are:

Mystere - Treasure Island
O - Bellagio
Zumanity - New York New York
Ka - MGM Grand (where I'm staying)
The Beatles Love - Mirage
Believe - Luxor.

Has anyone got any experiences of any of these shows?

Thanks

Dont waste your money on Zumanity - it's rubbish.

I can recommend Blue Man Group - if they are still playing in Vegas, although if you've seen one show somewhere, the other locations are pretty much the same. Vegas was always the biggest show though.

Ditto that.

O at the Bellagio is stunning, one of my favorite CdS. Tickets are not cheap though. I would also really like to see Ka.

Thanks,
Sarah

O at the Bellagio gets my vote too.

I've heard that The Beatles Love isn't that great

O was stunning - one more vote. It probably remains the top show, and last time I looked it was the most expensive. I also have heard good things about Ka, and we're looking at MGM next time we're in vegas, possibly catching it. Seems to be a consensus building here ....

Have seen both Mystere and the Beatles show. Would recommend both. Mystere is probably the more spectacular visually but the Beatles show definitely has the better soundtrack!

I've also seen Mystere & Love. Have to say I wasn't a huge fan of Love, there were 5 of us in our party, 2 fell asleep for about half an hour, and the other 2 were nodding off. I did enjoy Mystere though, which I saw the year before. Next year I would like to see O, I've heard from friends it's excellent.

I had been recommending people go see Danny Gans while in Vegas, he had a brilliant show, but he sadly died unexpectedly last week at his home. A month to the day we saw him on stage. He was only 52. Very sad.

You can also join the cirque du soleil club online. There are sometimes 25% to 30% off.

Currently showing 25% for selected dates most shows.

O and/or Mystere would get my vote. Certainly not Zoo or Love - atrocious IMHO unless you need a good sleep.

Plus I would go and see Cher again.

I'm currently leaning towards O at the moment...

O is dark Monday/Tuesday, which I think is two days you are there.

25% discount on late show 21st May.

(I had the site open as I was looking at possibly going in August)

Seen both O and Ka.

They're both excellent so go with whichever suits your timings and if there is any discount offered.

O was spectacular with the water levels on stage changing to different depths constantly and Ka an amazing stage which moved upright for various scenes. Ka had a storyline which O does not.

I couldn't recommend one over the other to my niece when she went but she opted for Ka because of the storyline and raved about it when she came out of the show.

Just go with the best discount offered, you won't be disappointed by either.

Again, I have Le Reve on my 'to do' list but still haven't got there yet. Wayne Brady was the last show we saw in Vegas.

I have seen Mystere, O, Love and Ka. I enjoyed Mystere the most but Ka was very good too.

I believe Mystere is the oldest Vegas Cirque du Soleil and has more traditional acrobatics whereas the others are more production based.
That said the spinning hamster wheel thing in Ka is brilliant

Am huge CduS fan, heres my views....

O is great and would be my first choice, just one of those shows you probably will never get to see anywhere else due to the huge logistics of it

Ka is my next choice, great spectacle, really enjoyed

Mystere is another excellent show, HOWEVER, the acts within can and do change. If you've seen some of the older touring Cirque shows such as Saltimbanco, Allegria etc then its possible some of the acts you've already seen may appear in this show

Love only go if you're a Beatles fan, its more a dancing show than a typical Cirque show

Zumanity, forget it!

Darren, I've seen 'O' and 'Mystere' and both were excellent, though 'O' remains my favorite. As one who had only seen a much smaller CDS while a troupe was traveling in California one year, the experience of 'O' in a huge Las Vegas theater was overwhelming.
