True but I was comparing cheapest available with cheapest available based on both websites. Some people look for miles and TP collecting, other people look for a good or dare I say it the cheapest price to go from A to B.

Ok, sorry, I see Y and I think Y fare bucket, not economy, let me get my anorak !

I think BA are still loading fares into the system, also, just to be the angle of death, there are a couple of large events in Vegas in Feb, could it be that we are starting to see a number of people move over to BA ?

Sorry Scrooge, I'm used to type in Y for Economy here and not for the fare bucket.[:w]

BTW, what are the large events happening in Feb 2010?

Winter Las Vegas Market 55,000
World of Concrete 2010 70,000
WSA Spring Show 25,000

Those are the big ones, plus lots of 250 - 5000

The first two listed above happen during the same week.

That must be a barrel of laughs. Probably all about networking and cementing relationships...

On the original topic, hopefully a bit of competition may help focus the mind.

Piece in today's Guardian (page 3 of the main paper - sorry can't find it on their website) that states that the new BA LHR-LAS flight wont have a 1st class cabin and that the 4 new planes it is getting wont have them either and tey are reviewing the config for all future orders. But they wont change configs on existing planes as its too expensive.

Paul, that was bad. I do have to say though, those concrete guys were fun to deal with, they know how to party after a day at the convention center.

I'll dig up an old thread here.

Saw a piece in The Mirror's Business (ahem) section last week, promoting the new route starting this week. BA are taking a gamble etc, quality tabloid reporting!

Anyone else booked on this in the near future? I'm going outbound on the 26th Nov, and just wondering what T2's immigration will be like at the arrival time?
