Sounds like a good trip apart from the mess at boarding and your encounter with the 'missing link' family.

What a great TR, love the detail and had me nearly spray my G&T all over my laptop!

Glad that the flight went very well. Could you imagine be sat in Y with that delightful family [:?]

I agree about the boarding chaos, I wish like other airlines they call you from the lounge when most pax have boarded, so you can get straight on.

I am so glad you were in J so that you did not have to sit next to the apes, oiks, ghastlies, Ys and girls in the common masses around you! How releaving it must have been to be above it all.

I do agree about MIA immigration, and the Tides is a nice hotel to view from the air!

Ah yes the ape family in Y, have bumped into them many a time [:D] great TR off to MIA myself soon so looking forward to the scrum.

Yes great TR would like to have been in the queue watching you glare at the woman ( I would too do the same thing especially with a J ticket) and to meet the charming ape family. Glad you had a great flight, must say you have a great memory.

Morning everyone!

Thanks a bunch for all the comments regarding my TR - I know its long, but I try to but in as much detail as possible, mostly thanks to my feverish diary writing (as opposed to a good memory)

Off to the states again soon, so will be sure to post another few TR's
