When we go to Florida at the end of October (fly in to MIA 29th) we need to head straight up to Orlando as we are doing Halloween Horror Nights on the 30th, but I'm not sure what the best thing to do is.
The VS5 doesn't land until 18:30 (if on time) and then there is immigration to contend with, so at best we are probably looking at being done by 19:30, at which time I'm not so sure I fancy the 3hr+ drive to MCO. My original plan was to just stay at the hotel in the airport, get up early, get the car and then drive up, being in Orlando for late morning, but with an early start will we be fully awake later on for HHN.
Looking yesterday I found some AA flights for $60 each, leaving MIA at 20:45 arriving MCO at 21:35, which would mean a late arrival at our villa, and a very long day, but then at least we are in MCO for the next morning and probably more prepared for a late night at Universal.
What would you do if you were us? Any info, tips, advice would be very much appreciated.
Cheers
Neil
