VS 065 / 066 DELAYS !!

I am currently awaiting the arrival of VS065 into Montego Bay Jamaica, to return us home.

I have seen that the flight was over 2 hours late departing and have also noted a few posts regarding late flights this last couple of weeks.

Does anyone know why VS 065 was so late leaving Gatwick today?

Looking at the speculation regarding shortage of assets and possibilities of LHR aircraft assisting LGW fleet... Does anyone know which aircraft is heading out on VS065? (Please let have V Port)!!

Oh jeez, why don't we have a forum called 'delays' so we can collect all the posts about delays between 0 and 3 hrs into one place where people can entertain themselves?

After all, there are 8,760 hrs in a year, so 2 are really, really important.

Quite agree with Slinky TBH.... if i had a pound for every flight that was delayed by between 0-3 hours in a year I'd not need to worry too much I don't think!

Ultimately yes 2 hours is a pain but you often find that time is made up en route anyway, and esp when you're on holiday or with no connecting flight it's not the be all and end all.
