Its an LGW configured plane (came back on the 50 at the weekend) and think its the same one that would be used on the Glasgow flights as well as other odd Carribean routes.

The extra 747 is one from LHR that is doing some of the Barbados flights which gives extra capacity in upper.

They are also now using an A343 for some of the Caribbean flights ex MAN and LGW. The VS49/50 is only seasonal, but will still be operated by a 747.

The 050 is great for any shuttle timings up to EDI with only a hour and a bit wait when you land into Gatwick [y]

The only thing to remember is make sure your timing to return your hire car isn't 3pm or 4pm - some wait until boarding [;)]

Not surprised. Father flew back on it during May and said that the load was so that passengers had to be moved to ensure there were people sat on the emergency exit seats. Said the load was around 50. The 16 and 28 had been 100% full though (according to the CSM who he spoke to).

I really wish that they would keep this later flight in the future its great to have the extra time to finish stuff at the office in MCO. On plane config, its has differed twice for me on the return 50 flight. I have had the LHR config plane and the LGW config plane.
