Hi Everybody,
First post on here today because i would like to take advantage of everyones extensive knowledge ..... Have been watching this site since last year when we all flew to Florida in PE, and it was very helpful when i took Mrs SkiGuru to Jamaica in January for her birthday -- (that was in Upper for her birthday treat).
Anyway, enough about me, my query is that i have just received notification that our flight home from Jamaica next year has been put back one day -- VS066 -- is now leaving on 23rd Jan instead of the 22nd. We have 14 nights booked at the hotel but this change makes it 15, so what do i do now ?
BTW, Flying Upper both ways because Mrs SkiGuru has a special birthday next January, BIG 40 [:0][:0] but dont tell her i told you !!
Thank You in advance for your answers and thank you all for the laughs you have given me from reading the reports on this site.........[y][y] SkiGuru

Well you could try to hard way and try and get VS to figure it out.

Or take the easy route, contact the hotel and book an extra night.

Is the hotel booked as part of a package? Or seperately?

Either way, the change is really beyond your control so you'll need to notify the hotel you'll be leaving a day later. If you booked though a tour operator they should take care of this for you, if not they can at least back you up with the written notification. Look at it this way - you get another night away [:)]

Thanks,
Sarah

If your after some sort of compensation then I'm afaid as you have been given lots of notice there won't be any even though you will have to pay for an extra nights holiday.

But happy birthday to Mrs Guru

Another reason to book a package as if you do your operator will take care of everything for you.
As it is you will have to stumd up the readies I think.
At least it's somewhere nice!
