Hi,

A bit of advice needed, i recived a call from the flying club outbound team, offering PE upgrade on my flight on Wednesday. It was a good price so we booked it. Really happy with the service etc. Mt query comes up with reciving the e-ticket. The lady on the phone said that reservations would send a new e-ticket out to me, but reading on the VS website, there is a delay on them sending the tickets out.
Would the booking be on the same ticket ref #? It has changed on 'my booking' on the website to PE.

If the new e-ticket does not arrive before Wed would i be ok to use the old e-ticket at the PE checkin desk?

Any help would greatly aprricated.

If you upgrade your flight you don't actually need a new e-ticket.

The booking reference stays the same. As long as you can see your new cabin online it will be fine.

Check-in staff will find your booking using your name.

If you log on to the manage my booking section of the VS site you should be able to see your booking now upgraded to PE. It was also suggested the other day that if you use the 're-send my eticket' button on there then you should get your eticket straight through.

Like James has already said however, as long as you have your booking reference then everything else will be fine.

I had someone at check-in today who had done this and there was a slight issue, although the ticket desk sorted it out so nothing to worry about.

Unless you've tagged extra legs to your booking then their system can't handle it, i.e. interconnects/multi flight itineries [n]

I changed a recent segment on VS and though it took awhile eventually the 'new' E-Ticket showed up in my email. I was lacking a printer, however. No matter. When I arrived at the ticket counter the check-in agent quickly found the reservation as I had kept my earlier E-Ticket which contained my reservations locator.

Just wondering what sort of prices they offer for an upgrade to PE when they call you?
