Daught and I are going to see George Thorogood on 26 July and (probably) staying at the Beverley Hills Hilton (Wilshire/Santa Monica Boulevard) on points - not booked yet but probably will by this Sunday (21st). I'm already paying for a rental out in Santa Barbara so want to keep costs down by burning some points, and I like the idea of waking up in Beverly Hills for my landmark half century birthday!

Parking at the Theatre is 'stacked' and described as a nightmare on most sites. The Hilton do a complimentary limo but only to 5 miles and the Greek is just under 10 miles. I've ruled out 'dine and ride' based on the timing and the participating restaurants. Happy to take public transport but appears hugely complicated. Limos seem plentiful but expensive and I can't find info on taxis

And I really don't fancy parking on street further out and schleping up the hill - I don't do perspiration [:p].

Any local perspective would be much appreciated

We stayed at the BH Hilton October 07 and had a great time, very attentive staff.

If you do end up booking there why not give the concierge a call? I guess they are so used to dealing with extreme requests from uber demanding guests that I'm sure they'll be able to sort something out for you.

From what I recall cabs were plentiful, not that we used them.

Enjoy and enjoy GT!
