Hi

Myself and two friends are off to Vegas on the 30th June. I have checked on Manage my booking and I can see that we are all sat apart and I cannot move seats around (i am assuming its a full flight)

My question is, what is the best way for us to be able to sit together? I have heard about the Twilight Check in, but two of the party are working the day before and wont be able to come to the airport. I can go, but am I able to do seating requests without the others present? I am the lead booking holder (it was all booked and paid for in my name)

Any advice welcome, I spend quiet a lot of time on airplanes on my own for work, so I was actually looking forward to sitting next to someone I know!

Many thanks

Dom

It would seem OLCI will be your best bet, 24 hours before your flight. Only 60% of seats are available for pre-selection the remaining 40% are held back for OLCI (excluding bulkheads and exit rows, which are only allocated at the airport), so as long as you are pretty quick off the mark you should be ok to get some seats together.

If that doesn't work then airport check in early in the morning might get you the exit rows, although these are chargeable at 75 each.

Strange, logged in this morning, a few hours before online check in opens and a load of seats were available through manage your flights. We are now sat together, RESULT!

Excellent news, maybe the system was just getting ready for OLCI stage. Hope you have a great time in Vegas.

Just an FYI, the weather out here is evil right now, very very hot, also we are expecting summer storms for the next few days, watch out for fast running water.

On a similar thread - what have the loads (Economy) been like out to Vegas over the last while - still a practically full flight most days?

From what I have heard yes, the odd flight is going out with a lite load but the Vegas route seems to be holding up well.
