Was in the IAD clubhouse on Thursday evening waiting for the delayed VS056 - a lady with the new tags sat down, I commented to my business colleague about the new tags ... she thought they were neat, I said ghastly. Later, I heard her replying to another traveller's comments about how 'ghastly' they were!!!
And they are!
By way of contrast, here is the new loyalty card from hmv, which is called pure.
The card is simple, all the data is on the other side, signature strip, membership number, helpline etc.
Now, imagine the HMV logo is replaced by an aircraft silhouette, coloured gold, silver or red. How nice would that be?

Received the renewal pack at last - all of it bar the membership card gone straight to the bin since it is as tacky as I feared.
I remember when received your Gold renewal pack was exciting!
Nice to see in the pack that it uses Mauritius as the tempting destination to spend miles on ... well only at certain times of the year that is! See, I did at least read it.

Saw one on someone's hand baggage the other day during boarding so I asked them what they thought of them and they said that they liked them. I think the word 'contemporary' was used.
