Happy 4th July, hope everyone has a great day.

I am off celebrating with some American friends of ours and having a 'real' American BBQ!

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the American people (who have, among other things, ruined the moods of laborers on several Caribbean Island nations - cf Dr. Vipond), it is my honour to accept you good wishes for our Independence Day celebrations.

That said, I would have hanged all those revolutionaries. One can only gaze back in sadness at what might have been had we retained the wise leadership of The Royal Family.

Good bay,

GJ

Happy July 4th to all our friends across the pond, and of course a happy Canada Day to all north of the USA and the few bits that may be south of the northern most points of the USA too.

This has been our first visit where we've been here for the 4th, and I have to say its been awesome (and still going on as it's 9.25PM here in LA)[:D].We've been on Venice Beach all day, and just got back.
Now sipping a nice cold glass of vino and can't see us getting any sleep for hours as every household around seems to have bought huge ammounts of fireworks and are merrily letting them off [:0].
