Had lovely welcome from staff as always and booked a haircut for Miss S and a back massage for yours truly. The haircut was the best she has ever had and we were delighted [^].
We managed two breakfasts as we were there so long and lots of shopping, champagne and chats with everyone so much so we were last on the plane due to gossiping in the salon!!
Bubbles drunk and still we waited when the Captain came on to say that we were delayed due to a pax with a swollen finger[?]. About 15mins later he told us that engineers had cut a ring off the ladies finger....must have been a stressful start to a flight for her[:w]
The flight was great and we had two fantastic CC's upstairs who made the journey very enjoyable. I thought the food was quite good for once and Miss S ate all of hers which is a first. We were in row 80 which is last to be served but they had asked us our choices and put them aside for us...I suppose a gold card comes in useful sometimes[:w] The July films had been loaded with the June magazine as reference which was a bit confusing to start with[?]
We arrived into MCO on time even after the finger delay just as a storm was starting so I think we were lucky. No queue for passports and our cases were out quickly...minus one wheel[n] which caused a few problems. Then we were stopped at customs to have our bags x rayed and they were convinced that we had fruit which turned out to be a MAC compact...so much for their machines[:w].
Then it was off to a nearby hotel before our drive to Sarasota the next day which with the lightening bolts making the car jump off the road and tornados is a whole new story....needless to say we survived[:D]
