Hi All,

I am booked on the VS29 and returning on VS30 to BGI in PE in November and the seatmap on VS website shows that its the 747-400 config 3. Now the VS website shows the seatmap with PE only downstairs and UC both in the Bubble and downstairs. But your seatmap diagram on v-flyer shows that it should be PE up in the bubble as well as downstairs.

Just a bit gutted as I was hoping for PE in the bubble as I have treated my mate to PE and wanted to get him in the bubble and dont fancy the upgrade cost to UC just for the bubble. Doh!

Does anyone know why there is the inconsistancy?

Thanks all.

Chris

There are times that the BGI route is run using an LHR aircraft, due to the high J loads and to cover aircraft in for MX.

As Scrooge has said it's not unusual to use LHR aircraft on this route (my outbound to BGI in March was on a LHR craft but inbound was a LGW one). If it's a LHR aircaft the PE seats will be the purple leather ones and the IFE will be v-port so it's not all bad [:)]

Ah - makes sense. Thanks all. I didnt realise that they still have aircrafts without the purple leather PE section but the old style - that bad after all this time IMHO.

Thanks!

On V-Flyer the old LHR config is still shown. The first 747 Config on v-flyer with PE both upstairs and down stairs is the old LHR config. The new one is the fourth configuration on V-flyer and that has PE downstairs only.
