Just received this email from Executive Club...

'What's more, convert your Clubcard Vouchers into BA Miles by
30 September 2009 and we'll give you an extra 600 bonus BA Miles on top of the BA Miles you would normally earn***. '

***Bonus BA Miles could take up to 6 weeks to be allocated to your account after the promotion closing date of
30 September 2009.

Just had that email as well so will check into it.

Can somebody help with a question - which are worth more / better, Airmiles or BA miles ?

We have a load of Airmiles & wondering if it's best to convert them to BA miles or not

I had it too, and am waiting in hope that my next Tesco statement will arrive on time to male use of the offer. We've had a good quarter with a number of bonuses!

Thanks,
Sarah

Got the email too. Had around just over 1600 Tesco CC points this quarter so that's about 3720 miles. Takes me up to around 13000 if that bonus is awarded.

I just wish we had a Tesco around here, we've got two crappy little express stores but no supermarket, I just want BA miles from it rather than Nectar Points from Sainsburys.

I only have a Waitrose and a Sainsbury's. I 'spose I could do Tesco home delivery, but then when would I ever leave the house, apart from work? [:I]

I know what you mean, the other trouble with home delivery is the fruit they pick for you may not be good enough etc. I still prefer to physically go to a supermarket for my groceries, it's probably one of the few things I don't do online [:)]

So, is this 600 miles bonus for every 600 earned?

I currently have 232.50 of clubcard vouchers in my hand, so if my maths is correct....

232.50 / 2.5 = 93

93 x 600 miles - 55800 total

55800 x 2 = 111600 BA miles?????

I was saving them up for a Virgin Holidays trip but this may be more useful to me.

I've only just signed up for the Exec club for my forthcoming first BA trip, so no miles in the pot at present.

Think it means that you get a one off 600 miles bonus on top of whatever you redeem.
i.e. 55800 miles + (1 x 600) miles bonus = 56400 miles total.

If you are not happy with anything that arrives you can simply hand it back to the driver and you'll get a refund. Not ideal if you really needed those vine tomatoes - but at least you do not have to accept inferior goods.

I do like the way that whenever I order free range chicken they seem to pick the most expensive pack in the store [}:)]

Thanks,

You can't convert Airmiles to BA miles.
Airmiles sometimes have good BA flight deals and are inclusive of taxes/ surcharges and earn miles and TPs.
I convert all our tesco CC points to BA miles as we earn BA miles from flying and hotel stays also.To me they are more flexible than Airmiles. What is best value I suppose depends on how you want to use them,if its for premium cabin travel BA miles are the way to go.

No 600 bonus miles per transfer.

Must admit that it doesn't technically say that you can't get the bonus 600 miles many times.

i.e
Convert 1 x 2.50 voucher to 600 BA miles and get a bonus 600 miles.
Next day (or when the miles appear in your account), do the same and so on.

It doesn't state anything about being one time only per BAEC memeber / Clubcard holder.

Mine were there in under 24 hours, won't be getting the 600 extra as Tesco never sent me the offer.
