Bizarrely, I've just discovered that we're having homemade steak and kidney pie for dinner tonight. Marvelous!

I like my 'high-end' food as much as the next man, but I simply can't abide being offered 'essence', strange savoury ice creams or - god forbid - 'foam'. It all starts to become very 'Emperor's New Clothes' if you ask me.

Did I mention that I'm having pie tonight? Might even have chips. With gravy...

Sound of the Sea is one of the best courses on the tasting menu! It's really strange ... but the iPods really make it work!
