Saw a guy in the supermarket today wearing a VA flying lady T-shirt. Remembered buying one of these about 10+ years ago. Wondered why not for sale in on board magazine anymore. Wish I still had it. [:I]

Yet another example of when VS used to be market leaders. [;)]

Those T-Shirts (and many others) appear on EBay fairly often.

Proudly (and more than a little nerd-like)[:I], I actually wore one of these on my first VS flight in 1992. To make matters worse, my brother-in-law wore his too [:0]

Still have a t-shirt and a couple of sweats (all a bit worse for wear). I did think they (marketing) would bring them back for the anniversary celebrations, but they didn't.

Aer John has a couple which he still wears regularly and we also have a sweatshirt somewhere in the house which surfaces from time to time. He also has a couple of Flying Club Swingers golf shirts, not to mention the Virgin Atlantic bathmat he blagged from Revivals many moons ago! Oh, and let us not forget the salt and pepper shakers from UC as well as glasses from both PE and UC generously donated by cabin crew.

We also have similar items of glass and crockery blagged from other airlines.

We do have 'normal' crockery and glassware. Honestly!

VS suddenly runs out of merchandise - honey lamb stocks her house with VS 'gifts' - Coincidence? [:w]

What's the strangest VS product anyone has?

I wore one of the sweaters back in 1998 on a flight home from Boston and the crew loved the fact someone was wearing it and all came to say hello for a chat etc, to someone who valued their airline. These days I don't think they would think that a novelty/fact worth acknowledging!!!

Every time I fly UC I dearly want to take those little salt and pepper shakers home with me but I just can't bring myself to pop them into my bag !
When he was young, my nephew used to collect the sick bags from any plane he went on - could never understand why as most of them never even had a logo on them!

They do actually say 'pinched from virgin atlantic' on the bottom. Well the pair that 'accidently' fell into my bag do anyway !

But as pennance I didn't wrap them up properly with the result my bag received a nice coating of salt and pepper.

If your not that craven am sure if you asked nicely the crew would give you a set.

If you ask, the crew will give them to you and wrap them so that you don't suffer tonty's fate

I remember going into the clubhouse for the first time last year. I was so thrilled with it all that I reverted to being like a child in a sweet shop.

When I booked in for a treatment and saw what the lady was writing with I couldn't help myself. I am now the 'proud ' owner of a silver pen shaped like a Virgin plane [:D]

When we flew a few weeks ago we asked if we could pinch the salt and pepper pots and were told, 'what i don't see doesn't happen' by the CC, with a knowing smile on her face. [:D] They now have pride of place on the table !
