This isn't the first time this has been done, you get a lot of relatives etc on them, some very good educational seminars and of course all the normal cruise things.
I watched a documentary a while back on one of them, I seem to remember at the time there were some survivors on the ship, it was moving watching them tell their stories.
The last survivor died only recently.
In Cobh, the last port that the Titanic set sail there is a Heritage Centre of the ships which left the harbour to many destinations including the 'coffin ships' to Australia and people fleeing the Irish Famine. A section of it is given over to the Titanic.

That's one ugly ship.

I wonder how many people will yell 'I'm the king of the world' from the ship?
If I go, do I get to *ahem* Kate Winslet on the back seat of a car?
Thanks

tonty, I think you're just a teeny tiny bit flat there. You realise I'm only saying it for your own good so that you can work on it before you appear before Simon Cowell in the X-Factor [:o)]

That's because she was built for Royal cruise lines, who were not exactly known for there designs, getting bought by NCL certainly didn't help then on to Fred Olsen who, well I have to say, feed their design people sugar laced with crack, the designs they come up with are interesting to say the least.

When we visited Belfast we went down to the Harland and Wolff area to see the dry docks and get feel for the scale of the ship. At one point we were sat on top of some 'metal mushrooms' set into the ground - the guide pointed out that these were actually ship's rivets.
