Purple Parking Triple Miles

I had an email a few weeks back from FC, stating an offer on triple FC miles for purple parking,can't see anthing about it on the FC web site.

Does anyone know the dates please? I made a recent booking which has only had the normal miles awarded and i'm sure i booked during the promotion period.

Want to check before i submit missing miles claim and wait for weeks.

If it if the same offer I received on the (27th July) it was for bookings made before 24th August, so imagine the booking period was between 27/7 and 24/8 for travel before 24/8/10 and it had to be booked online, there was a link provided but not sure if you had to use that.

I imagine if you had just happened to have booked purple parking before hand and it fell within the offer period you wouldn't get the triple miles.

Typically i made one booking on the 16/07 which we have already used. The second i made on the 24/07 for travel in Sept.

I have just rang purple parking and they suggested i cancel the 24/07 booking then redo it via the web site and i will get the triple miles.


terms are bookings must be made 27/07/09-24/08/09 and is for travel up to 24/07/10.

So one booking cancelled then new one made and bonus 1000 miles coming my way.

Now who says points whoring is bad [:D]

I have a booking in place with Purple Parking for our trip to Dubai in September so I phoned both FC and Purple Parking and they know nothing about any triple miles offer.[?]

Does anyone have any further info or maybe a link?[y]

It was received by email from FC, not sure if it was specifically targeted or not.

It was mentioned in my regular marketing email from VS.

I did not get anything, is there a link available, anyone?

I have received the same email regarding triple miles booking with Purple Parking. I duly cancelled my original booking and re-booked for the triple miles offer. However it is costing me 3 more for the same period of parking.

Just been on their website looking at prices for two different airports and there seem to be a wide range of car parks and options ranging from 39-102 for 2 weeks. Are there any specific places that should be avoided like the plague (Man + LGW)?
A lot cheaper than the 30+ I paid for 2-3 days at Humberside last year.

Does anyone know if - in order to get the triple miles - you simply have to book through the normal Purple Parking link on the VA website?

Or is there a specific link for this offer?

Just an update on this, I have just received 250 miles for my purple parking and then another 500 miles for purple parking triple miles offer. So all in all 750 miles [y].

I just rebooked via the VS FC site and have recieved my original 500 for meet and greet and bonus 1000

I have received 750 miles too. Totally unexpected as nothing showed up at the time of making the booking. A pleasant surprise. [:D]
