Well. I don't know the exact email address but the chances of it actually being actioned by SRB is slim indeed...

I would scan the VS website to see what their email format is, for example firstname.lastname@ or firstinitialsurname@ etc. etc.

SRB does have his own email address with VA however any correspondance sent to him at this address is dealt with by the Chief Executive office staff.

Although I would have thought the best place to start would be by contacting the Management Offices in Camden, London but I have to agree with Sealink that trying to contact him direct is slim to nil.

But its worth a try...!

Hmmmm, scoured the web site and come up with the names of all the top people, searched for all of them but alas no email addresses :-(

Because it is 'not public' that is why you may experience difficulty finding it. Those of us that may have what we believe it is, keep close hold for that very reason.

OK, so apart from the bog standard contact us link an the Virgin Atlantic site there is no way to contact anyone in a higher position directly?

I am trying to make a very special request for a flight which we are about to make from Heathrow and customer services are unable to help me, I just want to escalate it a bit, perhaps not to the top as I originally posted LOL.

Im not looking for any 'top secrets' just some pointers in the right direction to make our trip what I hope it will be.

Write a letter addressed to him care of the management office in London or Virgin Atlantic head office in Crawley.

Though celebration requests are often best handled through the Retail Therapy team - they have their celebration info page.

We have used this and had a quiet chat with the FSM upon boarding both of which made for a fantastic memorable flight.

Perhaps if you let 'us' know your special request someone can point you in the right direction - there are many experts on this site including VS Staff.

hackneyguy, at risk of being ridiculed .....

I saved hard for a very long time to book our tickets to Miami as a total surprise for my wife to be, she knows nothing of this.

I booked Premium Economy outbound and Upper Class for the return. I originally thought this the best option being a night flight on the way back.

I saw on the Virgin Holidays site that it was possible to pay a charge to use the Clubhouse at Heathrow T3 and so wrongly assumed this would also be the case for Virgin Atlantic, with which I booked our flights with.

If I had saved longer we could have been Upper Class both ways but im pleased about our special trip.

What I am trying to do, even if it sounds silly to you, is to get her access to the wonderful T3 Clubhouse right before her special flight.

This would just put the cream on the topping for her.

I have emailed customer services with details of a special request but have so far had nothing back form them.

Any ideas please.

Thanks for the info deviant.

Far from ridiculing you I can offer you some advice.

If you join V-Flyer then you can post your flight in itineraries with a view to other V-Flyers flying UC or Gold FC status that day who can take you into the CH as their guests. This is done quite frequently and me, myself, am always are willing to welcome a suitably behaved V-Flyer into the CH with me.

I hope you are able to get this sorted and enjoy this special trip to the full.

I am sure that you want a special trip but please remember that thousands of pax fly on VS everyday and many of them are also on 'special trips' be it weddings, anniversaries, off to see a newgrand child or like you a just a well deserved holiday and they would like VS to give them CH access or upgrades etc.

But you need to be realistic in believing that anyone at VS will think that your request is any more special than anyone elses. If they did then the CH would be jam packed and it would then soon loose its lustre.

It has been possible to purchase CH entry at check-in but this is restricted depending on numbers of eligible pax expected on the day and has been done as an experiment so it may not still be happening.

You say you have emailed VS customer services but didn't say when so we can judge if VS are being slow are not. They may already have some sort of list of people with requests similar to yours. Even if there was a list then it would be prioritised.

If you do get access to the CH (either via VS or as Hackneyguy suggests joining v-flyer and then seeing if any members are also flying the sane day and who might consider getting you admission - well it would take two v-flyers to get you both in) then that will be lovely but please remain realistic. Have an expectation of getting nothing and if you do then it will be more special.

I hope you and your wide have a good trip.

How flexible are your tickets - could you swap the UC / PE legs around to guarantee yourself access to the CH? That would have the added advantage of allowing you to pre-book a treatment for wife-to-be (and yourself, if so inclined)...

I agree with pjh. Try to swap the UC leg to outbound. That way you gain access to the Clubhouse, are able to book treatments AND enjoy the UC onboard experience.

After all, why spend a lot of money on an UC return leg and spend most of the flight asleep?[:?]

offering to get others in is a really nice gesture.

I have Steve Ridgway's email and his PA if that helps-they often help me out and Steve has been quite funny and helpful.

His PA is really nice and recently sold my folks access to the UC CH at Gatwick for 30 quid.

PM if you want the details

I have to agree with some of the replies here

The Best option is to Swap flights around UC Out PE back, Then access to CH is a given along with treatments etc, I have been informed by my girlfriend that the Hair stylists are excellent, I say informed as a I have no hair so would never know and her hair looks nice

With regards flights, Surely it makes sense to start your special trip on a high and the Clubhouse and UC will certainly do the job, A point to note if you do get to change, ensure you get to the CH several hours before your flight to take full advantage of the facilities

If you booked the whole trip through Virgin Holidays then give them a call and try to amend you itinerary, Get names as reference and if it gets sorted a little gift goes a long way, Choc, Flowers etc

On a personal note If I was to book a trip the Higher the booking class on the outward stretch is always the best option, Also sign up for FF ASAP and claim your miles then you use for upgrades etc in the future

Incidentally what flight itinerary are you on as a FC or FF GOLD members will certainly help

Hope this helps
