I was wondering if anyone could help. We booked a fly drive through our travel agent to fly out on 10 November on flight number VS027. We received a letter on 6 July, via our travel agent, from Virgin Holidays informing us that Virgin Atlantic had cancelled VS027 and we had been transfered to flight number VS015. However, my wife has been on a forum where people are suggesting that VS027 has not been cancelled on this date. My wife spoke to our travel agent today and they think that VS027 is still available. They have checked with Virgin who have confirmed that our booking has been switched to VS015. Was anyone else originally booked on VS027 on this date only to be informed that they had been transfered to VS015.
on Virginatlantic.com the VS15 and VS27 is still bookable in all classes...
Called into travel agents today to ask them to query whether VS27 had been cancelled. Initially, travel agent was told that VS27 had been cancelled only to receive a phone call 5 minutes after we left shop from Virgin apologising and saying that VS27 had not been cancelled and we had been put back onto this flight.
Virginboy 747, Hi there, I am a little confused. We are currently booked on the VS15 on 10th November. I notice from your earlier post that you mentioned that the VS15 has 300 empty seats, whereas the Original Poster mentioned that he had been transferred from VS27.
Could you please clarify which one is almost empty, as if it is VS27 then I may look at changing flight.
Thanks in advance.
