Just did a transfer before promotion finishes. Points out of amex account in an instant and miles and bonus miles into flying club account within 20 seconds. [y]

It's nice to see that somebodys systems are speaking to each other [;)]

Has this 15% bonus offer returned ? There are some reports on FT that it has until October 31st 2009, but it's not working for me.

For the US promo: No registration needed. Just transfer the MR points.

Interestingly, according to VS it's US only, but not clear nor detailed in any T&Cs, just by word of mouth from VS. I have a US Amex corporate card even though I live in the UK and have a UK FC membership number. Nevertheless, when I log into my Amex Rewards I see the 15% bonus offer because, presumably, I have the US card and that's where the offer is targeted, so I transferred a ton of points to get the bonus.

When no bonus appeared, I contacted Amex and they said that VS are responsible for adding the bonus and it could appear up to 14 days after the transfer.

I waited, nothing happened.

Contacted VS FC to be told the bonus only applied to US Amex card holders with US registered FC accounts ... well, there's nothing featured in the T&Cs to say this, now where, zippo. So I have let FC know my frustration here, if they messed up the offer in conjunction with US Amex, their problem ... next time, think about the possibilities and write your T&Cs accordingly I said.

Four weeks later, still waiting for a reply ... should I push on, heck yes I should or those points could have gone somewhere else more profitably!
