Checked in on line then dropped my bags at down town Disney, no designated PE or UC lines but as soon as I asked where UC check in was I had staff falling over each other to help and was checked in and on my way in under 5 minutes [y]

Arrived at MCO through security, had a bit of a problem finding the correct wing as the entrance looks like its been cordoned off due to building. Headed to the delta lounge and was quite impressed but only had about 10 minutes there due to the flight being called for boarding.

Headed off to the gate to be told that they were not boarding UC yet [n] but was called a few minutes later.

Got champagne and promptly split it over myself and the seat but it was duly mopped up and after a while another glass was forthcoming.

As it was a night flight most passengers went to sleep, I decided to have some food then sleep and was treated to two virgin staff flying in UC complaining about how difficult it had been to get a seat in UC [V]

Food was poor at best (unfortunate as the food on the way out was superb) I has the seasonal leaf salad which was OK bread was served with butter that resembled lard, the seasoned chicken which was very poor and the cheese and biscuits (only one type). Breakfast I had cornflakes served with tepid milk [:$]

Arrival was fine but so much for priority bag collection, it took about 45 minutes for my bag to arrive, one of the last off the plane.

Overall the service was professional supervisor came round and introduced herself (unlike outbound trip) but food and drink service was much better on outbound

Thanks for the TR. Funny that you mention the difference in food quality between your outbound and your inbound.

My parents recently flew on the 75/76 and even though they where only in Y, they said exactly the same thing about the food.

They said that whilst the service was good both ways (slightly better out than coming back), the out-bound food was great, coming home it was in-enable.

One thing they did mention was that they got bread rolls coming home in Y (which I thought VS had removed?). Mind you my mum said some of the kids on the flight had the best idea by playing football with their bread rolls as she said the bread was particularly vial.

Makes me wonder if it's got something to do with where VS source their food from in the US?

Regards

Nice to read about your flight. I haven't experienced the full menu ex-USA yet so will be interested to see it in a few weeks time.
