For my 2010 trip will be staying at Gatwick Hilton again, previous years I didn't notice King suites on offer, are these in the exec wing and has anyone experienced the King Suite, not bothered if its worth the money as I have booked it just interested in if its new and what its like.

Jumping in here as I don't want to start a new thread, but do you get FC miles for a Hilton stay? Looked at the VA website and the Hilton page talks about HH and nothing else (although it does mention claiming mising miles). I know you get 4 miles per if you go through the shopping page but is this as well as or instead of the usal sort of 500-1000 per night/stay?

Yes as long as you have selected to earn HH points and miles (either fixed or variable miles) in the 'my preferences' part of your HH account. Some 3rd party booked rates earn zilch points and miles.

Are the breakfasts actually worth it? Can pay 15 (+tax?) for breakfast if need be although I'm betting a quick walk to the terminal will yield better pricing?
