They've also fixed the bug in the Manage your Booking so that the seat plan and APIS entered message appears. Before they only appeared if you manually entered your booking ref.

A light refresh it seems. Still looks pretty poor IMHO.

I had already been on once today and didn't notice the change until I read this thread and looked again. Very minor changes, still looks pretty rubbish imo.

The Virgin Atlantic website has had a little refresh, its not a redesign just a little bit of work here and there. Pleased to see they've increased the width of it! First impressions for me, much nicer.

I believe they are currently doing some testing on it and responses, so there is a 50/50 chance of getting the new site. If you clear your cookies this will help you get the new look.

A slight improvement, no more. What we call a reskin in the trade, however no real effort to improve the navigation to contemporary standards, some pages resize to your browser screen width and some not oddly, nor, by the look of it, any great changes under the hood.

Good to see booking more prominently on the home page, but unlike BA, special offers are still lurking in their usual place (not that there are many at the moment!).

Will hope for more evolution and bug fixing [y].

Looks like they've fixed the issue with APIS changing date of birth by a date though

For those who haven't yet seen it in the 50/50 chance to get the new look, here it is:

I saw a video a couple of months back of a potential new VS site, and it was pretty impressive. This, on the other hand, is just a bit of tweaking to improve the look and feel.

Ah, now I have got the new look version, I do think it is an improvement. It certainly looks a lot more modern and the important parts seem to stand out more.

It just needs a re-write to make it cleaner and add some more functionality, such as show all available buckets without going to other pages.

Hopefully all this will follow along with more.

No matter what I try I can not get the new page to show using Safari 4.03 under Windows 7 (x64 if that makes a difference). Tried all the usual clearing cache/history etc.

The VS website was never very good with Safari before, seems even worse now. It's shows fine using IE8 or Chrome.

Edit - It wont show using Safari with OS X either [:?]

The now more red/purple contrast at the top of the page reminds me of the check-in system along with other things at work; depressing much?

I quite like the new look! I like the new quick links to your booking etc.
