can anyone tell me the loading of VS9 and VS17 on Sun 15th Nov, PE but just K class - can choose either time, and wanted to take the fuller one in the hope of an upgrade! (am Au)

if it looks totally unlikely I may as well stick to Economy, as I'm paying!

I managed to get a double upgrade from Economy to First the other day, which was delightful especially in a completely overloaded flight. would love to repeat that on at least one leg of this trip.

Hi,

Loads for 15th November are as follows.

VS9

J9 D9 R0 Z0 W9 S9 K9 Y9 B9 L9 M9 Q9 X9 N9

VS17

J9 D9 R9 Z1 W9 S9 K9 Y9 B9 L9 M9 Q9 X9 N9

Hope this helps,

Dominic

just to help me understand this - each class is followed by the number of free seats?
so there are zero Z class left on VS9 (Z0), but 9 seats in K class? (K9)

sorry for being dim!

That is correct for the VS9, no Z's available, but still at least 9 UC seats that they will sell as either a D or J fare. In PE, there is at least 9 seats left also, of which they are willing to sell at least 9 as a K fare. Just because each fare code shows 9's though, it doesn't mean that there are 36 seats available in PE, it's just which fare code they are available in.

It is quite confusing at times.

That is correct, 9 is the maximum it will ever show, so it could mean there are a lot more than 9 seats available.

Thanks Dominic

ok, got it- very helpful, thanks

so... in seeking out the more loaded flights (in the hope of being bumped up) one looks for low numbers of e.g. PE tickets. or is there another way of knowing which flights on the NYC>LHR routes are usually full?
