A couple of years ago flying to LAS, I 'bagged' economy seat 23A 24hrs before check-in. This was a great seat, small section just after PE. Very quiet and the best thing about the seat, it had an 'office' behind it (that was hardly ever used). The seat reclined very well and disturbed no one, I thought it one of the best Econ' seats I had had.
Now looking at my flight seat plan, it says WC instead of an office?? And have seen a few other seat configurations that say either it's a toilet or they have stuck two more rows there??

Anyone confirm??

5 (or maybe 4 now G-VROM has allegedly left the fleet) of the LGW/MAN 747's have this office behind row 23 in Economy. 3 of the LGW/MAN 747's have two extra rows of seats here & no office.

Aircraft with the office;
G-VROS - English Rose
G-VROY - Pretty Woman
G-VGAL - Jersey Girl
G-VLIP - Hot Lips
G-VROM - Barberalla (if still in the fleet)

Aircraft without the office;
G-VXLG - Ruby Tuesday
G-VAST - Ladybird
G-VTOP - Virginia Plain

Thanks for the info.

Can you confirm that the ones with an office are indeed offices and not been converted to WC's. Reason I ask is my Virgin seat plan shows it as a WC behind 23 ABC. I don't mind two extra rows behind or the office, but I'd hate to choose the seat the morning before, only to discover it backed on to a lavvy! :(

It's definately an office on the 4 (or 5) aircraft that have them. The office is pretty small in reality, I'm not sure that it would be big enough to be converted into a WC.

Thanks a bunch!

It's a great seat if you fly economy and it's the office behind. Glad it's still around.

Feels slightly exclusive as it's seperate from the main bulk. AND most importantly you're first off for US immigration. (I have been at the back and it took 1.5 hours at LAS!! as we were last off)

It would be a fun toilet if they did convert it as the IFE controls are in there..
